Noam Chomsky is American linguist, described as the "father of modern linguistics” He is a philosopher, historian, political critic, and activist. He is Professor (Emeritus) in the Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT. He has written more than 100 books in linguistics war, politics, and mass media.
